3 Places for Margaritas on Cinco de Mayo

Where to Get a Margarita for Cinco de Mayo in WestfieldMy friends and I instituted Margarita Monday a couple years ago. It was a fun way to be sure we shared regular girls’ nights. Plus, the margarita specials keep us all on a budget. Margarita Monday is also a frequent weekday dinner choice for the hubby and me. We can share a nacho plate, grab a drink, and enjoy an hour or two away from the children for less than $20.

So, there is really nothing more perfect than Cinco de Mayo on a Monday. Margaritas, authentic Mexican, and food & drink specials abound — right here in Westfield. We have three authentic Mexican restaurants in Westfield that are perfect for celebrating Cinco de Mayo tomorrow night.

El Jaripeo is located on U.S. 32. They are celebrating Cinco de Mayo with $1 off several combo choices and drink choices, including $1 off the large margarita — that’s 27 ounces of margarita for $6.99. I haven’t tried this one yet, as I usually keep closer to my own neighborhood.

Los Cabos is located in Springmill Commons across from Kroger. This Mexican restaurant features $1.99 small margaritas every Monday. They also typically have live music for Cinco de Mayo. Which I guess means I can’t use their televisions to watch the Pacers game.

Agave Blu Mexican Grill is located on the corner of Westfield Marketplace, near the Kroger on Carey Road. I haven’t been there since it transferred ownership from Poblanos, but I have heard only good things so far.

I’m not sure which Mexican restaurant we will end up at just yet, but I do know I will have my usual chicken nachos and a margarita for Cinco de Mayo. And I can stay right here in Westfield to celebrate.
