Carey Tavern is one of those places you simply want to make your home. One fan calls it “the best thing since flip-flops and fanny packs.” Guess that about says it all. It’s not just the Westfield residents who frequent this Westfield restaurant and bar. People visit the Carey Tavern from nearby Carmel, Noblesville and even Indianapolis, of which Westfield is a suburb less than ten miles north of Indy, in Central Indiana.

The folks at the Carey Tavern go out of the way to make sure you’ll be coming back soon. Their menu includes sandwiches, wraps, pizza, salads and even steak. The place is jam-packed with flat screens and also offers video games, pool tables, darts, a great juke box and special events.
Perhaps one of the best things about this Westfield bar is its live music for dancing. Carey Tavern gets live bands from Indianapolis and is fast making a name for itself as a premier venue for Westfield music. The place really rocks on Saturday nights, and they offer frequent special events and parties. A good example is the 2009 Halloween party at the Carey Tavern; guests rocked out with Governor Davis, and the winner of the Best Costume contest took home a $100 cash prize.
Looking for a fun place to take in the best of your favorite Indianapolis sports? Carey Tavern offers three projection high-def televisions, eight regular TVs and nine great flat-screens, so there’s a screen for everybody in the house.
